Real Change, Real Easy

The changes we help people make offer the potential for genuine change. Organizational change theorists talk often about the difference between first order change – getting through a situation with short term solutions – and second order change – which is change at a fundamental, core level.

This work brings about Second-Order Change. It doesn't just put a band-aid on a problem and make it manageable for the short term – the hallmark of a First Order Change.

It actually changes the dynamics of the system that causes the problem to begin with. We help people shift the foundations on which they approach what they do. Whether its through group or one-on-one coaching, or whether you’re working to become a better presenter, or a more effective person – we deal in Second Order Change.

It’s especially true of our Energy Empowerment work. By building new neural highways, you can clear out the junk drawer of your brain, and eliminate the unresourceful connections to old memories, experiences and beliefs.

Some people actually feel the changes in their body. Others feel a sort of "buzz" in their heads as the work progresses. Almost all describe the feeling of a weight being lifted from their shoulders, or otherwise feeling "lighter."

As a Second-Order Change agent, Energy Empowerment Techniques give you tremendous power to:

Eliminate Fears

  • Fear of public speaking
  • Fear of flying
  • Fear of making a decision
  • Procrastination
  • Lack of patience

Eliminate Barriers

  • "I may have success in doing X but that was just a fluke."
  • "I'll never be able to do Y the way I want to."
  • "No matter how hard I try, I just can never break ## on the golf course."
  • "I always seem to have less time/patience/money than I want to have."

Break Down Negative Self-Talk

Many people think they motivate themselves by directing critical thoughts at themselves. But remember that the subconscious will serve up what you feed it. Calling yourself an "idiot" limits the degree to which you can excel.
  • You loser!
  • Clumsy oaf!
  • You idiot!
  • I hate my (face/voice/swing/pitch/thighs/whatever)
  • Faker!
